  Dr. Selsky does a great job every visit. He answers all of my hundreds of questions about my daughter and gives recommendations and advice that are helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly trust worthy. He has also referred us to specialists when necessary without hesitation. I highly recommend him to any parent.

  We moved and picked a pediatrician from our insurances approved list with one of the best reviews. However, this review is anything but good. I should have trusted my initial impression when he came into the room and seemed kind of cold. I know people like this that warm up after getting to know them or they are just better with kids than adults.
  My 3 year old got sick and I was told that they have walk-in time at 8:30 am and it is first come first serve. I got in there right at 8:30 am, with infant in tow, and ended up waiting till after 9 am to get into a room. I was the only patient there. We finally get seen and a bunch of swabs were taken. Both flu A and B came back positive followed by Strep Troat. They redid the Flu test because both couldn’t be positive. Both came back negative. He had already had his symptoms for 5 days. Yet, he prescribed Tamiflu and and antibiotic for the Strep Throat. So, 2 1/2 hrs later we leave the doctors office to get the scripts filled.
  The pharmacist told me how much the Tamiflu was $379 per bottle and we were prescribed 2 bottles. The pharmacist then asked how long my son had these symptoms and I told her 5 days. She said Tamiflu only works if it is given within 48 hours of symptom onset. I did not buy the bottles because I do not want to give my son more medicine than he needs.
  We get home with the antibiotics, the antibiotics were free at my pharmacy, and my son throws up the initial dose as he hated the taste (bubblegum- who hates bubblegum?!). We try to find a concoction that works and land on lemonade(?! Apparently I have more issues with my son) but, we are now going to be short the 10 day dose of antibiotic.
  I call the pharmacist to see what we need to do since he threw some of it up could they replace part? They said I just need the doc to call in a partial order.
  I call the doctor and they said I need to bring him back in. I bring him back in on the 7th day (another $30). I told them about the Tamiflu and that we are just here to get 3 more days of antibiotics. They take my sons vitals and we wait. This time my mother-in-law is added to the party package. The doctor comes in yelling at me that Tamiflu can be administered at anytime and my son could have died and, also, antibiotics only need to be administered for 7 days not 10. My blood was boiling. They proceeded to do another in house swab test to check for strep and it came up clear.
  I leave infuriated.
  It has now been a month and I just received a bill in the mail for $75 from Quest Diagnostic. Apparently, they sent a swab to them to test. Never told me. Why do an inside test and send it out? They depended on there inside test to prove a point? I call them and ask about this and they said by the way you have a $55 dollar bill coming in the mail for the in house tests as well. Add that up and that is $160 for the doctor to yell at me in front of my kids and my mother-in-law about not needing antibiotics for the entirety of the prescription. He couldn’t have done this over the phone? If, I don’t need 10 days then prescribe 7 days. Put it on the label. All of these would have been a lot nicer than me lugging around a baby, a toddler and now a $160 bill.
  Very unprofessional! I absolutely hate writing bad reviews but I don’t want anyone to go through this again.
  I depended on the reviews choosing him.
